Kazakhstan April 2017: Toyota Camry best-seller, Ravon R4 up

Thanks to our partnership with autoconsulting.kz, we can share with you April 2017 data for Kazakhstan when just 3.653 new vehicles found a buyer, bringing the year-to-date tally to 11.767. Toyota remains in the lead, improving its market share to 21.5% thanks to 784 registrations, while Lada remains roughly at its year-to-date level at 17.5% vs. 17.9% so far this year. Kia (8.9%) overtakes Ravon (7.4%), the replacement brand for UZ-Daewoo, while Renault is stuck in 5th place. Lexus jumps two spots to #9 and Lifan leads Chinese manufacturers at #14 ahead of JAC at #20. Model-wise, the Toyota Camry remains by far in the lead with 8.7% share, distancing two Ladas: the 4×4 (aka Niva) and Largus. The GAZ Gazelle and Ravon Nexia R3 round up the Top 5 while the Kia Rio and Toyota Land Cruiser 200 leap into the Top 10. The newly launched Ravon R4 – a rebadged Chevrolet Cobalt – is up 78 spots on March to land at #13 and the Hyundai Creta is stable at #15.
