Uruguay Full Year 2016 / models: Fiat Uno #1, Renault Oroch instant blockbuster

The Renault Oroch lands directly in 5th place and is the #1 LCV in Uruguay in 2016.

The Top 3 best-sellers surge ahead with the Fiat Uno more than doubling its sales year-on-year to 4.038 units and a very imposing 8.8% share. The VW Up gains an equally impressive 79% to step onto the 2nd position ahead of the Chevrolet Onix up 75% to #3. But the most impressive new arrival inside the Ururguyan Top 10 this year is without contest the Renault Oroch, a pick-up variant of the Renault/Dacia Duster. It lands directly in 5th place overall with 1.700 units sold, also placing it #1 among e Light Commercial Vehicles ahead of such household names as the Toyota Hilux, VW Saveiro and Fiat Strada… Other new entrants in the overall Top 15 this year include the Ford Ecosport at #9, the Kia Picanto at #12, Geely LC at #13 and Chevrolet Prisma at #14.
