Serbia November 2016: Skoda and Octavia take the lead

The Skoda Octavia is #1 in Serbia in November.

According to our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Serbia are down 1% year-on-year to 1.969 units but remain in positive year-to-date at +18% to 24.208 deliveries. Skoda overtakes Fiat to become the best-selling brand in the country this month with 15.1% share vs. 14.1%, while Volkswagen soars 3 spots on October to land at #3, above Renault, Dacia and Opel. Model-wise, the Skoda Octavia overtakes the Fiat 500L to take the lead in November with 5% share vs. 4.2% but the 500L remains comfortably the best-seller year-to-date at 1.523 sales vs. 1.089 for the Octavia. The Skoda Fabia is up one spot to #3,  the Opel Astra up two to #4 and both the Ford Fiesta (#5) and Renault Clio (#6) reappear in the Top 10.
