The Chilean new car market is up a splendid 21% year-on-year in November to 28.730 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 8.5% to 273.878 units. Both Hyundai and Chevrolet outperform with 11.7% and 10.7% share respectively vs. 10.2% and 9.4% year-to-date, and while Kia is exactly at the same share as its YTD level (9.5%), it gets knocked down to third place. At this rate, the American manufacturer could even slide past Kia in one month for the 2nd place overall in 2016. Nissan, Toyota, Suzuki and Ford follow, with the Great Wall Group leading the Chinese offensive at #19 ahead of JAC (#20), Changan (#21), MG (#22) and Chery (#24) in tow.
