Moldova October 2016: Skoda Rapid and Dacia Sandero on podium

The Dacia Sandero leaps onto the Moldovan podium in October.

Thanks to our partnership with Central European market data specialists CE Auto, we can share with you today October data for Moldova, a market up a flamboyant 38% year-on-year to 404 units, lifting the year-to-date tally up 15% to 3.271 sales. The Dacia Logan holds onto the pole position with 7.2% share, with the Skoda Rapid and Dacia Sandero tying for 2nd place at 6.4%. This enables the Rapid to jump to third place year-to-date, becoming the best-selling Skoda in the country so far in 2016 above the Octavia (#4) and Superb (#5). The Hyundai Tucson lurks at #4 but remains at #2 year-to-date. The VW Passat and BMW X5 make an incursion in the Top 10.
