Based on data shared with us by Eastern Europe specialist CE Auto, the Bosnian new car market is up by a stunning 40% year-on-year in August to 674 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total up 27% on the same period a year ago to 4.641. After ranking #2 in January and #3 in February, the Seat Leon manages to top the Bosnian sales charts for the first time in August thanks to 37 deliveries. Note the original data showed the (discontinued) Seat Altea in pole position which was a homologation code error. BSCB is correcting this information to replace it with the Seat Leon. One sale below we find the Opel Astra and VW Polo at equal #2, with the Skoda Octavia, Rapid and Dacia Duster in tow.
