Luxembourg Full Year 2015: BMW 4 Series up to world-best #5

Luxembourg is one of only two European markets to lose ground in 2015 with Estonia, and the one performing the worst at -6% to 46.647 registrations. Volkswagen leads the market again but with sales down 10% to 5.816 units it is now under intense pressure from BMW, up a flamboyant 14% and two spots on 2014 to land at an impressive 2nd place with 5.465 deliveries. BMW places no less than three nameplates inside the 2015 Top 10 – more than any other carmakers – with the big surprise being the 4 Series up to a world-best 5th place thanks to 886 salses. The 3 Series is #9 and the 1 Series #10.

The Renault Scenic is up to #2 despite sales down 28%.

Audi (-12%) remains third but Renault (-23%) drops two ranks to 4th position. Mercedes (+5%) and Skoda (+13%) are the only other carmakers to gain ground inside the Top 10. Further down, Volvo (+11%), Mini (+10%), Land Rover (+2%), Seat (+1%), Porsche (+38%) and Jeep (+106%) also do so. Back to the models ranking with the VW Golf topping the charts again but down 13%, followed by the Renault Scenic (-28%), Audi A3 (-38%) and VW Polo (-11%). The Mercedes C-Class leaps from outside the 2014 Top 10 directly to #7.
