Venezuela November 2015: Chevrolet & Jeep ahead, market down 53%

The Chevrolet Silverado is the best-seller in Venezuela this month.

Depressing month keep coming through in Venezuela with new car sales down 53% year-on-year in November to just 1.296 registrations, pulling the year-to-date total down 13% to 16.115 units. Despite a 56% drop to 320 sales and 24.7% share, Chevrolet reclaims the brands pole position it holds year-to-date, distancing Jeep reborn from its ashes at 310 units and 23.9% share vs. 483 and 1.2% year-to-date. Ford (-66%), Mitsubishi (+39%) and Toyota (-75%) follow. Model-wise, the Chevrolet Silverado dominates with 315 sales, ahead of the Jeep Cherokee, Ford Explorer and Jeep Grand Cherokee.
