Poland July 2015: Skoda Fabia confirms top spot

The Polish new car market is up another very dynamic 15% year-on-year in July to 33.972 registrations, lifting the year-to-date total up 4% to 236.163 units including commercials. Skoda remains the most popular manufacturer in the country but its market share thaws to 10.1% this month vs. 11.6% year-to-date, just above Toyota up 3 spots on June to #2 and 9.3%, Volkswagen also at 9.3% and Opel at 9.1%. Kia is back above Hyundai at #8, Mazda is back inside the Top 15 and Volvo is up to #17.
The new model pushes the Toyota Avensis inside the Polish Top 10 in July.
The Skoda Fabia celebrates two consecutive months atop the Polish sales charts thanks to 1.166 sales, however the finish was close with the VW Golf (1.155), Skoda Octavia (1.104) and Opel Astra (1.027). Toyota places three nameplates inside the Top 10: the Auris is up 10 spots on June to #5, the Yaris is up one to #6 and the Avensis up 13 to #10 thanks to the new model. Further down, the Mazda6 is up 18 ranks to #25, the Suzuki Vitara is back up 19 spots to equal its best Polish ranking so far at #28 and the Seat Toledo makes its very first appearance inside the Top 50 at #50 with 176 sales.
