Belgium February 2015: Renault Scénic jumps to top spot

The Renault Scénic is the best-selling model in Belgium in February.

Belgian new car sales are up by a dynamic 8% year-on-year in February to 49,631 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 102,623 units, up 7% on 2014. The Belgian market is getting more and more fragmented each year, with all nameplates below 2.4% share this month and the Renault Scénic jumping up 7 spots on January to pole position with 1,131 sales and 2.3%, above the VW Golf and Renault Clio both at 2.1%. In 2nd place for two months in a row, the Golf earns the year-to-date top spot so far with 2,285 sales and 2.2%. The Hyundai ix35 is up 5 ranks to an astounding 4th place, the Mercedes C-Class maintains itself inside the Top 10 best-sellers at #9, the Peugeot 2008 is up 7 to #10, the VW Passat up 30 to #13, Kia Sportage up 22 to #16 and the Dacia Sandero is up 13 to #18.
