Croatia October 2014: Renault Captur jumps up to 2nd place

A very satisfying month for new car sales in Croatia, up 13% year-on-year in October to 2,496 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 30,256 units, up a beautiful 25% on 2013. Brand-wise, Volkswagen keeps the lead albeit with just 13.7% share vs. 16.2% YTD. Renault gains 3 spots on September to #2 and 10.4% vs. #5 and 6.1% YTD, Skoda rounds up the podium at 7.6% ahead of Dacia up 9 ranks to #4 and 6.2% vs. #13 and 2.9% YTD. The Renault Group is in great shape this month in Croatia and places the Captur at a best-ever 2nd place thanks to 105 sales and 4.2% share whereas it didn’t ranking in the September Top 20, earning it a #19 spot YTD, while the Dacia Sandero is up a further 4 ranks on last month to #5 vs. #18 YTD. The Skoda Octavia is also up 4 spots to reclaim the pole position it holds year-to-date, the Toyota Yaris and Mazda3 are both stable at #7 and #8 respectively, a clear notch above their YTD rankings and the Fiat 500 makes an appearance inside the Croatian Top 20 at #13.
