Serbia August 2014: Dacia Duster up to 2nd place

Based on data reported by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, 1,451 new cars found a buyer in Serbia in August, bringing the year-to-date total to 14,145 units. The Skoda Fabia confirms it is the new master on board with a magnificent 9.2% market share this month thanks to 133 sales, while the Dacia Duster comes from outside the Top 10 in July directly into 2nd position at 89 units and 6.1% share. The Fiat 500L, whose local production was idled because of weak demand, is back up 2 spots to #3 and 5.3% and remains #2 year-to-date at 5.7%, the Skoda Octavia is down two ranks but stable at 4.6% share, and both the Hyundai ix35 and Opel Corsa jump inside the Top 10 at #6 and #7 respectively.
