Moldova August 2014: BMW X5 back up to 6th position

The BMW X5 is the 6th best-selling car in Moldova this month.

Thanks to Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu I can share with you the 10 best-selling models in Moldova in August. Moldovan consumers purchased 298 new cars in August, bringing the year-to-date total to 2,950 units, up a very solid 22% on 2013. The Dacia Logan is even more dominant than ever in the models ranking with 17.4% share for the sedan version (vs. 12.4% year-to-date) and 3.7% for the MCV (vs. 2.3%), while the Hyundai Santa Fe reclaims the 2nd spot it holds year-to-date at 4.4% share. The Skoda Octavia is up to #3 ahead of the Superb and the BMW X5 lodges a third consecutive month inside the Top 10 at #6 with 3% market share which has to be a world-best for August.
