Hong Kong (China) June 2014: Toyota Noah leads, Mercedes S-Class now #2 year-to-date

The Toyota Noah is the best-selling vehicle in Hong Kong this month.

New vehicle sales are up 12% year-on-year in June in Hong Kong to 4,580 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 25,433 units, up a solid 10% on 2013. Now that the new generation has hit HK, the Toyota Noah ends 3 consecutive months of Toyota Hiace domination thanks to 253 sales and 5.5%, only 3 units above the Hiace though which keeps the year-to-date lead by far at 1,347 sales and 5.3%. The Mercedes S-Class continues to lodge out-of-this world scores: it ranks third this month at 192 units and 4.2% share, earning it the #2 spot year-to-date! Notice also the Toyota Alphard up 9 spots on May to #10, the Toyota Ractis up 7 to #11, the Mercedes CLA extremely solid at #12, the Audi Q5 up 19 to #14 and the Maserati Ghibli up 21 to a world-best #28. Finally, we welcome the McLaren 650S in the ranking at #150 and the Renault Captur at #182.

The first two McLaren 650S in Hong Kong were sold this month.
