Croatia June 2014: Opel Astra and Corsa dominate

The Croatian new car market continues its recovery: up a massive 34% year-on-year in June to 4,269 registrations which brings the year-to-date total to 21,133 units, up 37% on 2013. Volkswagen dominates the brands ranking thanks to 752 sales and 17.6% share, while Opel has a particularly strong month at 15.7% vs. 13.5% year-to-date, placing the Astra (6.3%) and Corsa (6.2%) atop the models charts. Notice also Hyundai up to #3 and 7.2% vs. #8 and 5% year-to-date, with the i30 up to third position (5.5%) and Audi up to #9 and 4.5% share. Leader year-to-date, the Skoda Octavia is down to #7 below the VW Golf (#4), Up (#5) and Polo (#6). Finally the Audi A3 is up to a fantastic #9 spot, the Renault Captur up to #12, Seat Leon up to #14 and breaks into the year-to-date Top 20 and the Suzuki Swift points its bonnet at #19.
