Serbia April 2014: Skoda Fabia reclaims pole position

Based on data reported by Central European market data specialists www.ceauto.co.hu, 2,100 new car sales found a buyer in Serbia, bringing the year-to-date total to 7,055 units. Leader over the Full Year 2013 and both in February and March, the Fiat 500L drops to 2nd place in April at 139 units and 6.6% share, passed by the Skoda Fabia at 142 sales and 6.8%. The 500L, produced locally at the Fiat Srbija plant in Kragujevac, holds onto its year-to-date pole position however thanks to 454 units and 6.4% vs. 389 and 5.5% for the Fabia. The Skoda Octavia remains in third place with 102 sales and 4.9%, while the Kia Cee’d jumps from outside the Top 10 in March directly to #4 and Hyundai manages to place 3 models inside the Top 8: the i30 at #6, i20 at #7 and ix35 at #8.
