Cyprus April 2014: Range Rover up to 5th place

Thanks to data provided by  SEMO Cyprus and Analysis by INNOSOFT, I can share with you rare information about the Cyprus new car market, up 14% over the first 4 months of the year to 2,780 registrations. The Toyota Yaris comfortably keeps the year-to-date lead in the models charts in spite of sales down 8% to 140 units for a 5% market share, but below the ranking is reshuffled: the Honda CR-V (+262%  year-on-year!) and Nissan Qashqai (-20%) pass the Ford Fiesta (-40%) to establish themselves in 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The Range Rover astonishingly gains 4 spots on last month and 232% vs. the same time last year to hike into 5th place with 93 units sold, while the Volvo XC60 is up 709% to #8, the Toyota Corolla up 925% to #10 and the Kia Cee’d up 280% to #15.
