Slovakia July 2013: Dacia Sandero in Top 10

As usual it is with a little delay that I can share with you the best-selling models in Slovakia. In July, the market is down 9% year-on-year to 5,709 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 37,753 units, down 7% on 2012. The Skoda Fabia resists in the lead with 326 sales and 5.7%, while the Skoda Octavia III marks a pause, going from 4.9% share in June to 4% this month. The Hyundai i30 is very solid once again in third place with 3.7% and the Skoda Rapid is back up to #4 at 3.2%, maintaining itself to #2 year-to-date.

Both the Kia Cee’d and VW Golf VII are up 2 spots on June to #5 and #6 respectively and we welcome back the Dacia Sandero inside the Top 10, up to #8 with an estimated 120 sales and 2.1%, earning it a spot in the year-to-date Top 25 directly at #17. Other great performers this month include the Peugeot 208 up 6 ranks to #13 and the Peugeot 301 up one further spot to #17.
