Kazakhstan July 2013: Daewoo Nexia and Lada Largus shine
The Lada Largus is almost inside the Kazakh Top 10 this month.

Thanks to Irina from www.akab.kz, I can share with you for the third time on BSCB sales figures for Kazakhstan. After gaining 58% year-on-year in May and 71% in June, new car sales in Kazakhstan continue on their break-neck speed, now up a mammoth 87% in July to 16,086 registrations, which brings the year-to-date total to 84,836 units, up 75% on 2012! The Lada Priora is once again comfortable in pole position thanks to sales up 124% year-on-year to 1,991 units and 12.4% share, followed by the Lada Samara up 39% to 1,318 sales and 8.2%. The Daewoo Nexia remains #3 with 1,204 sales and 7.5% (+110%) which enables it to climbs to #3 year-to-date also, passing the Lada Granta surprisingly down to #6 this month.
The Lada 4×4 (aka Niva) continues to post unbelievable figures: up 167% on July 2012 to 1,005 sales and 6.2% in 4th place, equal with the Hyundai Accent up 251%. The Kia Rio stays #7 but is up a huge 686% year-on-year, while both the Toyota Camry (#10) and the Lada Largus are up 2 spots, for the latter to a best-ever #11 with 301 sales and 1.9%. The Largus is now #20 year-to-date at 908 units and 1.1%. Notice also the antediluvian UAZ 3909 up 12 ranks on June and 303% year-on-year to an excellent #13 with 242 sales and 1.5%, the Kia Cerato and Nissan Qashqai both up 5 to #14 and #17 respectively and the VW Polo appearing at #18.
