Slovakia 2 months 2013: Skoda Fabia leads, Suzuki SX4 #3

Slovak data is now very patchy on BSCB because my source ZAP has now closed off its monthly data reporting to (expensive) subscription-based. However thanks to Skoda120 and Auto Motor a Šport I can share with you today the 25 best-selling models in the country over the first two months of 2013. Like in 2012 the Skoda Fabia is in the lead albeit with a slightly lower market share at 7.2% thanks to 623 sales. The Skoda Octavia II (previous gen) ranks #2 at 507 units and 5.8% however this will change soon as the third generation has kicked off its career in the country in February, selling 63 units then.

Excellent performance of the Suzuki SX4, up from #8 over the Full Year 2012 to third position with 295 sales and 3.4%, it is followed by the Hyundai i30 at 3.1%, VW Golf VII at 2.6% and the Kia Cee’d at 2.6% also. The Skoda Rapid makes its first appearance in the Slovak ranking at #7 with 202 units and 2.3%. Notice also the Hyundai i20 up to #9, Renault Fluence up to #10, Dacia Duster up to #11 and the Peugeot 301 pointing its big boot at #23.
