Good news to see Sales up. Fiats 500 seems to be the only car keeping them afloat in the UK the Bravo sold a poor 349units. Surprised to see the Vauxhall Insignia struggling shame family cars D segment have dropped off so much over the last 15years when a Mondeo/Vectra could easily sell well over 100000 a year. The worst horror of all Is the VW Scirocco dropping 2000 units this is easily the most stylish car on the roads…

    Great data as ever, Matt.
However, Ford & Vauxhall van sales just don’t stack-up. No way did the Transit only shift 220 units in a year. It probably shifts that number in a single day on the UK’s bi-annual registration changes!

      Thanks Frank!
You are right, I forgot to mention that this ranking only includes ‘Passenger Cars’ sales and not Light Commercial Vehicles. So the 220 units of Ford Transit were registered as Passenger Cars. If LCV were included the Transit would be in the Top 10, as it was in my ’9 months 2012′ article.
      Thanks for picking this up!
      Cheers,
      Matt

Strong: BMW series 1 and series 3.
In trouble: Vauxhall Insignia (-30 %) out of top-ten.
