Thanks to STAC I can share with you for the 2nd month in a row an exclusive look at the best-selling Station Wagons (SW) in France in October over the first 10 months of 2012. If the Renault Megane Estate is still #1 both this month with 1,208 sales and year-to-date at 14,809 units, the following models are newcomers at that level. The Peugeot 508 SW is up to a brilliant 2nd place with 1,151 sales (#3 YTD) while the Citroen DS5 lands on the podium thanks to 1,052 units sold (#5 YTD). Now I know it is a controversial move to include the DS5 in this ranking but this is how it is classified by the CCFA.

BMW 3 Series Touring

Below, the Peugeot 207 SW stays #4 and accounts for 74% of total sales of the 207 this month. It is just above the Renault Clio 3 Estate at 779 sales vs. 775. Other great performers this month include the BMW 3 Series Touring up to #10 vs. #18 YTD, the Kia Cee’d SW up to #16 vs. #23, the Chevrolet Cruze SW up to #22 vs. #34 and the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake already up to a shiny 30th place with 65 sales for its 2nd month in market.
