In this euphoric context, the Toyota Land Cruiser accentuates its domination even further to a mammoth 11.5% share in February thanks to 433 sales, with the year-to-date total at 675 units or just under 10% share, to be compared with 6.9% over the Full Year 2011.

The Toyota Prado, #8 over the Full Year 2011 at 2.9% market share, is up to #2 in February and year-to-date at 4.7% and 5.5% share respectively. In third place the Toyota Corolla is very close to its historical levels at 4.5% share, followed by the Hyundai Elantra at 150 units and 4% (vs. 1.4% in 2011) and the Toyota Hilux at 3.3%. This means the 2012 year-to-date Top 6 is 100% Toyota: Land Cruiser, Prado, Corolla, Camry, Hilux and Hiace…
