Austria July 2011: Skoda Octavia #2, new Hyundai i40 arrives

Healthy figures for Austrian car sales in July, up 1% at 29,307 registrations, and up 9% year-to-date at 216,900 units. The VW Golf leads the pack at 4.1% share and is followed this month by the Skoda Octavia, up 8 spots on June to #2 with 915 sales and 3.1%, its highest position in Austria since April 2009…

The Opel Astra (#4), Skoda Fabia (#5) and Hyundai i30 (#6) are all strong, while the Skoda Yeti, up 34 spots to #17, Mercedes C Class, up 26 spots to #21 and Seat Alhambra, up 19 spots to #33 all deliver outstanding performances.

Hyundai i40

Two new Korean models get noticed: the new generation Kia Rio, officially launched next September, is already up to 64th place at 147 units thanks to dealer sales and the all-new Hyundai i40 lands directly in 95th position for its first month of sales in Austria with 74 units.

    La BMW Série 3 est vraiment mal classée par rapport à ses concurrentes allemandes !
