Norway May 2011: VW Passat up to #2, Volvo V60 up to #4
The car market is getting better and better in Norway this year, up 31% in may at 13,005 registrations and 14% over the first 5 months of the year at 58,151 units. The VW Golf stays on top but lowers its share to 4.7% with 611 sales, now threatened by the VW Passat, up to #2 with 581 sales and 4.5%.
For the first time this year I’m not putting a picture of the Mitsubishi ASX, because it slows down slightly this month at #3 with a still very commendable 577 sales and 4.4% share. It however gains one spot in the year-to-date ranking at #2 with 1,979 units and 3.4%. The best performer this month is the Volvo V60 which makes its first appearance in the Top 15 directly to #4 with 401 sales and 3.1%…
