France 3 to 9 May 2011: Citroen C4 Picasso up to #3
The French car market continues to slip down at -13% year-on-year this week with 36,623 registrations. The Peugeot 207 confirms its return in shape at a distant #1 with 4.9% share, followed by a very strong Citroen C3 at 3.9%. Citroen is actually the best-selling brand in the country this week and places a second model on the podium: the Citroen C4 Picasso, going from #14 and 1.9% in April to an extremely impressive 3rd place and 3.8%.
The Peugeot 3008 also shines in 5th position with 3.2%, just above the Renault Megane and Dacia Duster, now anchored for good in the Top 10 at #7 and 3.1% share. VW continues to post solid figures week after week with the VW Polo at #9 (2.9%) and the VW Golf at #10 (2.4%).
