Luxembourg 2009: VW Golf and Audi A4 on top

Car sales in Luxembourg are not massively affected by the economic crisis, down only 9% to 45,186 registrations. The VW Golf keeps the pole position with 2,188 sales, up 7% on last year to reach an outstanding 4.8% market share, in actual fact the only model above 3% share this year.
The Audi A4 is up 4 spots in spite of sales down 13% to reach an excellent 2nd place at 1,331 units, ahead of the VW Polo also up 4 ranks with 1,311 sales and the BMW 3 Series, down 30% to 1,230 units. For the first time in Luxembourg there are two Audis in the Top 5 with the Audi A3 up 3 spots to #5 with 1,161 sales. Notice the BMW 1 Series down 36% to #6.
