Switzerland 2005: Golf & Astra dominate, Octavia up 72%

A couple of big changes in the best selling models ranking in Switzerland this year: below the invincible VW Golf, the Opel Astra jumps to #2 with 5,231 sales (+39%) followed by the stable Audi A4 and the Skoda Octavia, gaining 22 spots and 72% in 4th with 4,659 sales!

The VW Touran is very strong again in 5th with 4,640 sales, ahead of the BMW 3 Series and the Peugeot 206. Notice the Honda Jazz, best Japanese at #15 and the Mercedes A Class at #22 (+105%). Other new entrants in the Top 50 include the BMW 1 Series (#30), Hyundai Tucson (#36), Citroen C4 (#39) and Renault Modus (#45).
