Slovakia 2003-2004: Fabia, Octavia and 206 on podium

The Slovak car market is very stable, at 57,413 registrations in 2003 and 57,430 in 2004. The Top 5 best selling models are unchanged, with the Skoda Fabia still by far the best selling model in the country, at 18,270 units sold in 2003 (or 31.8% of the market) and 14,897 in 2004 for a 25.9% share.

The Skoda Octavia takes the 2nd place with 5,425 units in 2004 (9.4%), followed by the Peugeot 206 (3.6% in 2004), Renault Thalia (3.5%) and VW Polo (3.2%). The VW Golf is trailing its little sister by only 24 sales at 1,834 units (3.2% also). Note the 7th place of the Citroen C3, the Renault Megane at #9 and the Peugeot 307 at #10, bringing the number of French models in the Top 10 to 5.
