Excellent year for car sales in the USA: 9 out of the Top 10 best-selling models in the country see their sales grow year-on-year! The Ford F-Series leads the charge as it has done for the last 17 years in a row and passes a new mark: at 836,629 sales up 12% it sells more than 800,000 units for the first time in the nameplate’s life…

Its margin over the #2, the Chevrolet C/K, keeps growing as the latter only gains 5% this year at 538,254 units. The Ford Explorer reclaims its 3rd spot thanks to a best-ever 431,488 sales, up 8%, ahead of the Toyota Camry, the best-selling passenger car in the country again with 429,575 sales up 7%. The Dodge Ram and Honda Accord follow, both above 400,000 units for the first time.
