Moldova September 2022: Dacia Duster tops market down -1.7%

The Dacia Duster is the best-selling vehicle in Moldova in September.

According to data shared with us by CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova edge down -1.7% year-on-year in September to 688 units, but the year-to-date volume remains in frank positive at +13.5% to 5,456 registrations. This month the Dacia Duster (+49%) takes the lead of the models charts for the third time in the past 12 months after last December and April. It however remains #2 year-to-date below the Toyota RAV4 (-31.1%) in difficulty in September. The Kia Sportage (+6.5%) remains in 2nd place above a surging Suzuki Vitara (+185.7%). The Skoda Kodiaq (+91.7%) and Renault Kadjar (+64.3%) also impress while the Geely Atlas Pro signs a second consecutive month (and ever) inside the Moldovan Top 10.
