North Macedonia August 2022: Toyota Corolla topples Dacia Duster, sales down -4.9%

The Toyota Corolla is now the best-selling vehicle year-to-date in North Macedonia.

According to data shared with us by CE Auto, new car sales in North Macedonia drop -4.9% year-on-year in August to 347 units. The year-to-date tally is now off -5.8% to 3,437. This month the Toyota Corolla (+76.5%) is the runaway leader with a strong 8.6% share. It topples the Dacia Duster (-45.5%) to now rank #1 in the year-to-date charts. The Renault Captur (+88.9%) makes a rare appearance in the Top 10 directly at #2 (this should be a new ranking record for the nameplate), distancing the Fiat Fiorino and Kia Sportage (-43.5%). Notice also the Citroen C4 up to equal #5 and the Skoda Kodiaq and Hyundai i20 making their debut in the North Macedonian Top 10, both at equal #8.
