North Macedonia Full Year 2021: Kia Sportage returns to #1 in market up 6.7%

Thanks to data shared with us by our Central European partner CE Auto, we learn that new car sales in North Macedonia climb 6.7% year-on-year in 2021 to 5,476 units. After leading the charts in 2019 and being overthrown by the Citroen C3 in 2020, the Kia Sportage (+146.4%) returns to the top spot thanks to a spectacular gain, knocking the Citroen C3 (+28.1%) to 2nd place. The Toyota Corolla (+67.9%) is up five spots to #3 ahead of the Hyundai Tucson (+17.1%) down two to #4. Once market leader (in 2016 and 2017), the Dacia Duster reappears in 5th place this year, distancing the Skoda Octavia. There are four new entrants in the 2021 Top 10: the Fiat Ducato, Toyota RAV4, Toyota Aygo and Renault Clio.
