In the brands ranking, Volkswagen (-28.9%) retains the top spot but Renault (-18.6%) catches up, climbing from 14.1% to 15.6% share vs. 16.1% for VW. Skoda (-23.4%) ensures the podium remains unchanged on last year while Hyundai (-0.3%) leapfrogs past Peugeot (-18.2%) and Dacia (-21.8%) to reach #5. Kia (+10.4%) is the only gainer in the Top 10 and Top 20, shooting up 6 spots from #13 last year to #7 and 4.6% share. The Top 4 models are unchanged on last year, with the Skoda Octavia (-24.8%) distancing the VW Golf (-21.5%) and Renault Captur (-27.1%). The Nissan Qashqai (-12.7%) steps up one spot to #5 while the Dacia Duster (+137.8%) and Hyundai Tucson (+37.8%) post the largest gains in the Top 10. For its first full year of sales, the Skoda Kamiq surges to 103 spots to #15 overall.
