New car sales in North Macedonia are down a reasonable -13.4% year-on-year in 2020 to 5.133 units vs. 5.926 a year ago. Leader in 2018 but toppled by the Kia Sportage in 2019, the Citroen C3 (+15.5%) swims upstream with a double-digit gain to reclaim the North Macedonian pole position for 2020. It distances the Hyundai Tucson which didn’t appear in the 2019 Top 10, the Toyota Yaris (+3.8%) up 3 spots to step up to third place and the Skoda Octavia (-22.5%) down one to #4. Last year’s leader the Kia Sportage (-45.4%) crumbles down to 5th place this year. There are an additional two newcomers in the 2020 Top 10: the Opel Astra at #6 and the Fiat Doblo at #7 just as the Toyota Corolla (-27.7%), Fiat Tipo (+1%) and Skoda Fabia (-18.8%) all fall down the ladder.
