Turkey November 2020: Ford (+90.7%), Toyota (+87.2%) headline market up 37.8%

New light vehicle sales in Turkey continue to surge after two years of economic crisis, albeit to a lesser extent in November as volumes are up 37.8% to 80.141 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 72.1% 668.495. The Top 3 carmakers all outpace the market: Fiat (+47.4%), Ford (+90.7%) and Renault (+45.5%) dominate, with Toyota (+87.2%), Citroen (+77.8%) and Dacia (+47.6%) also very strong in the remainder of the Top 10. Further down, Volvo (+208.3%), Mini (+157.1%), Kia (+122.5%), Mercedes (+72.2%), Jeep (+66%) and Suzuki (+61.6%) make themselves noticed.

In the models ranking, the Fiat Egea (+43.7%) continues to evolve at stratospheric heights, namely 12.2% share for the month. It is followed by the Renault Megane (+125.7%) and Toyota Corolla (+130.5%) both in outstanding shape. The Dacia Duster (+89.9%), Renault Clio (+67.8%), Ford Transit (+59.5%), Focus (#8) and VW Polo (#10) also post very significant gains in the remainder of the Top 10.
