Bosnia & Herzegovina Full Year 2019: Skoda Octavia (+23.2%) sails off in market down -1.2%

The new generation should enable the Skoda Octavia to cement its lead in 2020.

Based on data shared with us by our Central European data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Bosnia & Herzegovina edge down -1.2% year-on-year in 2019 to 10.926 units. The Skoda Octavia (+23.2%) surges ahead to 7.8% share, widening the gap with the Skoda Fabia (-32.2%) from 155 units in 2018 to almost 500 this year… The Octavia has now been the #1 vehicle in Bosnia & Herzegovina for 7 of the past 8 years. The Hyundai Tucson makes a giant leap from outside the 2018 Top 10 directly into third place, knocking the VW Golf (-41.6%) from the podium. The Dacia Duster (-5.6%) rounds out the Top 5 like last year while the Dacia Sandero (+17.8%) and VW Caddy (+11.7%) shine further down and the Toyota Yaris points its bonnet inside the Top 10.
