Cyprus October 2019: Toyota Yaris, Nissan Qashqai and Kia Sportage tie for #1

The Kia Sportage doubles its sales year-on-year to tie for #1 in Cyprus.

Thanks to our partnership with SEMO Cyprus and INNOSOFT we can share with you today October sales figures for Cyprus, a market down -3.8% year-on-year to 959 registrations, leading to a year-to-date tally down -8% to 10.424. This month three cars are tied for the #1 spot: the Toyota Yaris (-20.6%), Nissan Qashqai (+6.4%) and Kia Sportage (+100%) all sell 50 units for a 5.2% share, with the Toyota Yaris holding onto the YTD top spot ahead of the Nissan Qashqai and Kia Stonic (+75%) down 6 spots on September to #7 for the month. The VW T-Roc (+218.2%) is up 9 ranks on last month to #4 with the Jeep Renegade (-48.3%) rounding up the Top 5. The VW T-Cross breaks into the YTD Top 30 at #30 thanks to a very first incursion into the Cypriot monthly Top 10 at #9. The Hyundai Kona (+500%), Nissan Micra (+240%) and Ford Fiesta (+90%) also post spectacular gains in the remainder of the Top 15.
