Volkswagen and Peugeot post the largest gains in the Top 5.
The Belgian new car market continues to benefit from particularly low year-ago post-WLTP volumes with October registrations up 15.8% year-on-year to 42.713 units, yet the year-to-date tally remains in negative at -2.2% to 481.968. Volkswagen (+25.6%) reclaims the brands top spot off Peugeot (+29.9%), both brands frankly outpacing the market and delivering the largest gains in a Top 5 completed by BMW (-5.8%), Mercedes (+9.2%) and Renault (-4.1%) all under-performing. Audi (+160.5%), Citroen (+61.4%) and Hyundai (+30.2%) also beat the market growth in the remainder of the Top 10 while further down, Porsche (+375.4%), Tesla (+368%), Ferrari (+114.3%), Jeep (+79.1%), Lexus (+59.4%), Seat (+53.8%), Alfa Romeo (+47.6%), Fiat (+43.9%), Mazda (+31.5%) and Land Rover (+27.4%) all impress.
