Croatia September 2019: VW T-Cross inside Top 5 in market back up 22.2%

The VW T-Cross is up to a record #5 in Croatia in September.

New car sales in Croatia are back up 22.2% in September to 3.552 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 2.5% to 51.337. The entire brands podium outpaces the market this month with Volkswagen (+98.3%), Renault (+39.7%) and Skoda (+35.6%) all sporting fantastic results as do Seat (+265%), Dacia (+34.3%), Peugeot (+26.4%) and Suzuki (+24.9%) in the remainder of the Top 10. Further down, Lexus (+500%), Fiat (+69.4%) and Mercedes (+43.9%) stand out. Model-wise, the VW Golf (+380.4%) is the best-seller in Croatia for the 2nd straight month, with the Renault Captur (+270.4%), Skoda Octavia (+50.8%) and Suzuki Vitara (+35.4%) in tow. The VW T-Cross breaks into the Top 5 for the first time at #5, the Fiat Panda and Seat Ibiza are both up 7 spots on August to #7 and #13 respectively while the Ford Focus (#16), Skoda Karoq (#18) and Opel Insignia (#19) all reappear in the Top 20.
