Media post: 2019 Audi A6 Review

Over the last decade or so, the three German rivals; Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi have gone toe to toe on everything from design, performance, and technology. However, it is now clear that Audi is treading ahead thanks to cutting edge technology that appeals more to the youths looking to impress. The 2019 Audi A6 has taken that youthful appeal to a whole new level while still maintaining everything we loved about the A7 and A8.

Body

The biggest improvement Audi A6 has on its predecessor is the stylish exterior. The mid-sized European car has maintained the sportiness of the BMW 5 Series and the luxury of a Mercedes-Benz E-class. However, it has gone a notch higher with an exclusive character line that goes from the headlights to taillights in a purely artistic way. The car is a bit longer and wider than the A7 and A8 but this character line makes it look even longer.

It is the Led headlights and taillights however that will keep you glued to your car as they are a show on their own. When you lock or unlock the car, the lights do a seductive dance that looks like fireworks.

Driving

2019 Audi A6 retains the 3.0-liter turbocharged V-6 engine mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. This will give you a whooping 335horsepower on the Quattro all-wheel-drive which is a lot of power.

What you will notice, however, is that despite the powerful engine, this A6 is very quiet and calm so you will not get that aggressive power you may be expecting. Infant, the car is so quiet that you should visit Audi Repair San Rafael, CA if you hear any noise. It’s a very relaxed car that insists on staying on low gear for fuel economy and its working, because 22/29 mpg city highway is a pretty good number.

Interior

Since the car is longer and wider, the interior is more spacious and gives you more leg space. The interior décor does not disappoint at all thanks to the modern cabin that’s very visually stimulating. The 2019 A6 comes with two large screens on the center console; one for infotainment and navigation while the other is for air conditioning.

The simple interface enables you to control everything easily from the steering wheel so you no longer have to use your iPhone. The seats are as luxurious as you would expect from an A-series and you have plenty of legroom to stretch.

Safety

If you are looking for safety, 2019 Audi A-6 won the TOP Safety Pick Plus Award in all safety categories including crash mitigation and avoidance. It includes the standard forward collision alert with independent braking, a low-speed mode in urban settings and full driver assistant package.

The 2019 Audi A6 seems to be more fuel-efficient and better looking than any other car in its category. The only complaint on this car is that the two screens at the center stack can be a bit distracting to the driver especially if you are not very focused.
