Media post: The Off-Road Package of the Lamborghini Urus

The Urus is venturing off solid asphalt and onto other types of terrain, such as sand and soil, to prove the thrill of driving a Lamborghini knows no bounds. According to the folks at Warren Miller Lamborghini (Davie, FL,) the Off-Road Package changes the Urus into an off-road machine. The ANIMA selector allows the Urus to seamlessly shift between sand, soil, and snow driving modes so the SUV can conquer any terrain. For the most amount of fun behind the wheel, while driving on sand dunes, TERRA and SABBIA driving modes are added to the ANIMA selector with the Off-Road Package. When the Urus is equipped with the Off-Road Package the SUV features brushed steel exhaust tips, stainless steel bumpers, and the option to increase the Urus’s ride height.

The off-road capability of the Urus is combined with the thrill of driving a sports car to deliver an unheard of ride. The high-performance Urus is powered by a turbocharged 4.0-liter V8. The impressive engine makes 641 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque. When driving on the asphalt the Urus can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. The engine comes paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The impressive stopping power of the Urus is achieved by carbon-ceramic brakes. Active roll control and a dynamically adjustable air suspension system control the suspension of the Urus. The exterior of the Urus is further complemented by 21-inch wheels, all-wheel drive, a rear-axle torque-vectoring system, LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, and a power rear hatch.

As soon as you get behind the wheel of the Urus you’ll instantly find yourself surrounded by luxury. The immensely comfortable 12-way power adjustable memory front seats with heating leave you feeling right at home. Four-zone automatic climate control comes standard with the Urus. While the rear seats can either come configured as two-person sport seats or a three-person bench seat. The Urus’s features don’t just stop at comfort though they continue to offer an impressive amount of high tech features including a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, two touchscreens, navigation, Bluetooth, and an eight-speaker sound system. While you drive you can charge your phone on the inductive charging pad. In your Urus you will never again have to worry about poor signal strength thanks to antenna coupling that boost signal strength.

Being a sports car does not mean the Urus is lacking in the safety features department. The Urus comes standard with front and rear parking sensors, lane departure warning, an anti-theft alarm, high-beam assist, and front collision mitigation. Optional safety features include night vision, active lane centering, adaptive cruise control, a head-up display, and a surround-view camera system. With a wide range of options, Lamborghini allows buyers to completely customize their Urus. Optional features include a panoramic roof, privacy glass, roof rails, 22- or 23-inch wheels, rear-seat heating, front-seat ventilation, a trailer towing package, a rear-seat entertainment package, and a premium surround-sound system. The Urus is also available in a full spectrum of colors and can be made with a wide variety of materials.
