Lesotho Full Year 2018: Toyota Hilux #1, Fortuner and Isuzu KB post strong gains

Thanks to our partnership with Lightstone and NAAMSA, we can share with you today 2018 sales figures for Lesotho, and for the first time brands volume are available as well. It shows Toyota’s implacable domination with over 600 sales for the year vs. less than 70 for the #2 brand, Isuzu. Nissan, Ford and Volkswagen complete the Top 5 while Chinese manufacturer Great Wall appears at #9. Over in the models ranking, in an unchanged podium vs. last year the Toyota Hilux (+0.6%) remains untouchable despite impressive surges by the Toyota Fortuner (+50.8%), Isuzu KB (+36.7%) and Toyota Etios (+15.4%). The Nissan NP300/Hardbody and NP200 return inside the Top 10 to make it 5 pickups among the 10 best-selling nameplates in the country vs. just 3 in 2017. Among passenger cars, the Toyota C-HR edges up one spot to #6, the Toyota Prado returns inside the Top 10 at #7 and the all-new Toyota Rush lands directly at #8.
