Indonesia Full Year 2017: Now with Top 25 All-brands and Top 165 models
The Toyota Alphard ranks inside the Indonesian Top 40 in 2017.

We are now able to share with you more complete data for Indonesia over the Full Year 2017 with a complete Brands ranking and a Top 165 models representing 93% of the market. Brand-wise, just below Wuling brilliantly ending its inaugural year in Indonesia at #10, Mercedes, Mazda, Chevrolet, BMW and Lexus all fit inside the Top 15 while Dongfeng (#22) is the only other Chinese carmakers present in the official sales charts this year. Volkswagen is stuck at a paltry #20 with just 537 sales.
The Daihatsu Gran Max Pikap is now included in the FY2017 Indonesian sales charts.
The new models ranking adds a couple of commercial vehicles that were absent from our preliminary figures, such as the Suzuki Carry Pikap (#5), Daihatsu Gran Max Pikap (#7), Mitsubishi L-300 Pikap (#15), Daihatsu Gran Max Minibus (#19) and Mitsubishi T-120SS Pikap (#26). Among recent launches, the Suzuki Ignis shines at #22, ahead pf the Mitsubishi XPander at #23 and the Wuling Confero at #36 just under 5.000 sales.
The Mitsubishi T-120SS Pikap is exclusive to Indonesia.
Notice also the Mitsubishi L200 Triton topping the 1-tonne pickup segment at #29 just above the Toyota Hilux, and the country’s craze for MPVs illustrated by the Nissan Grand Livina (#32), Datsun GO+ (#33), Toyota Alphard (#39), Nissan Serena (#53), Toyota Voxy (#58), Mazda Biante (#77), the latter four being nameplates rarely seen outside Japan. The Mercedes C-Class is the most popular premium model at #51 followed by the Lexus RX (#56), BMW 3 Series (#61), BMW X1 (#62) and Mercedes E-Class (#64).
