Moldova Full Year 2017: Dacia Logan #1, outpaces market up 33%

According to our Central European market data partner CE Auto, new car sales in Moldova shoot up 33% year-on-year in 2017 to 5.581 units. The Dacia Logan manages to substantially outpace the market at +48% to lift its market share to 9.2%, celebrating at least seven consecutive year in the Moldovan pole position. The Hyundai Tucson (+10%) remains in 2nd place but trails the market growth and loses over one percentage point of market share to 5.2%. The Dacia Duster surges 73% and three spots to land on the podium at #3, distancing the Skoda Octavia (+16%) while both the Toyota RAV4 (+63%) and Suzuki Vitara (+52%) frankly beat the market also. The Dacia Dokker (#8) and Ford Focus (#10) replace the Hyundai Santa Fe and Skoda Fabia in the Top 10.
