Singapore June 2017: Toyota reclaims year-to-date lead

New car sales in Singapore are up 1.7% year-on-year in June to 8.250 registrations, lifting the year-to-date tally up 5.4% to 45.783 units. Toyota is up 2% to 22.3% share whereas Honda is down 8% to 18% which means Toyota reclaims the year-to-date lead (Honda ranked #1 over the Full Year 2016) at 20.6% share vs. 20.2%. Mazda consolidates its third place with deliveries up 23% to 11% share vs. 9.9% so far in 2017, Mercedes is up 20% to #4. Mitsubishi up 13% to #6, Kia up 91% to #9 and Audi up 21% to #11. Further down, notice Chevrolet (+177%), Opel (+492%), Ford (+128%) and Perodua (+600%) all taking off.
