Europe February 2017: Discover the Top 340 models and Top 56 brands

With a bit of delay we can share with you final figures for Europe 28 countries in February 2017, excluding Russia and Turkey. The final total for February stands at 1.105.464 registrations, up 1.3% year-on-year and lifting the year-to-date tally up 5.5% to 2.301.649. Brand-wise, there is no ranking change in the Top 30 compared to preliminary figures, with Volkswagen leading the way despite a 8.3% drop, distancing Renault (+3.9%), Ford (-3.9%), Opel/Vauxhall (-1.1%) and Peugeot (-4%). Way down the charts, one notable change in Bentley overtaking Ferrari to now rank #40.
…along with the Nissan NV300…
In the models ranking, there are a few changes atop vs. preliminary data. Among them, the Nissan Qashqai knocks the Fiat Panda down one spot from #5 to #6 thanks to 19.176 sales vs. 19.125 for the Italian car, the VW Tiguan overtakes the Citroen C3 to rank #11, the Skoda Fabia is up 4 spots to #19, now distancing the VW Passat, Audi A3, Fiat 500 and Vauxhall Mokka in this order, the Dacia Duster is now above the Mercedes C-Class at #25, the Seat Leon is above the BMW 3 Series and the Peugeot 3008, bow including the first generation, shoots up to #31 above the Toyota C-HR at #32, up two spots on January and still the best-selling recent launch (<12 months).
…and the Honda NSX.
Among recently launched nameplates, the next best-seller is the Seat Ateca down two spots on last month to #59, followed by the Audi Q2 at #64, the Volvo S/V90 at #91, the Ford Ka+ at #100 and the Suzuki Ignis up 16 ranks to #102. Further down, notice the Skoda Kodiaq up 66 spots on February to #185. We welcome three new nameplates inside the European charts this month, all still very shy: the Nissan NV300 at #272, the Lada Vesta at #282 and the Honda NSX at #320.
