Philippines August-September 2015: Ford Everest shoots up to #12

Today we catch up on two months worth of sales for the Filipino market: in August+September, 46.221 new cars found a buyer, up 4% on the same period in 2014. This lifts the year-to-date total to a record 225.657 units, up a whopping 16% on 2014. The Toyota Vios is breaking out with the rest of the market with a mammoth 13.8% share over the period thanks to an estimated 6.400 sales, distancing the Toyota Innova (6.1%), the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 (4.9%) up 4 spots on July to #3, the Toyota Hiace and Fortuner. The Isuzu MU-X continues its progression and gains a further two ranks to #6, the Hyundai Accent is up 9 to #9 and the all-new Ford Everest is up 81 spots to land in 12th position with 1.341 sales and just under 3% market share.
