After the traditional Top 10 models and Top 30 manufacturers, today we can share with you more detailed July data for Mexico. The detailed brands ranking shows Nissan still leader by far with 25.6% share above Chevrolet (18.2%), Volkswagen (13.2%), Ford, Honda and Toyota. With the split of FCA Mexico into brands, Mazda (+24%) now ranks 7th above Dodge (+39%) and Hyundai (+95%) while Ram is up a spectacular 86% to #12 and Kia lands at a cool #14 with 1.499 sales for its very first month in the Mexican market. In the models ranking, we have a few changes in the Top 10 as monthly AMDA data is only based on year-to-date results and some models ranking outside the YTD Top 10 will be missing. As such, the Chevrolet Sonic remains at an excellent 7th spot thanks to sales up almost 3-fold year-on-year and the VW Gol surges 7 ranks on June and 59% year-on-year to #10, knocking the Nissan X-Trail down to #12.

Ram 700 Mexico July 2015Separate Ram 700 sales figures are now available for Mexico.

The Hyundai Grand i10 is up a further two spots on June and 4-fold on July 2014 to #18, the Dodge Attitude (#21) and Honda HR-V (#22) continue to shine, while the Toyota Yaris (+146%) and Ford Ranger (+119%) lodge impressive year-on-year gains. For the first time on BSCB we have access to the sales split between the Ram 1500-3500 produced locally, and the Ram 700, a Fiat Strada rebadge imported from Brazil. The Ram 700 ranks at a very healthy #41 in July at #44 year-to-date, while the 1500-3500 retains the US Full-size pickup crown, but just: at 1.208 sales this month, it distances the Chevrolet Silverado (1.161) and Ford F-Series (985).

Finally, for its first month in market, Korean manufacturer Kia places the Sportage at an outstanding 35th position with 910 sales and 0.8% share, already outselling the Hyundai ix35 (-12% to #53). The Kia Forte (#73) and Sorento (#87) follow.
