France LCV June 2014: Renault Kangoo reclaims top spot

Sales on new Light Commercial Vehicles in France are up 7% year-on-year in June to 37,030 registrations, bringing the year-to-date total to 190,828 units, up 1% on 2013. As a reminder France is by far the largest LCV market in Europe. After two months of Fiat Ducato domination, the Renault Kangoo reclaims its title of best-selling commercial vehicle in France thanks to 4,209 sales and a huge 11.4% market share. In fact this month the podium is 100% Renault with both the Master and Clio IV up 2 spots on May to #2 at 7.8% share and #3 at 6.9% respectively. The Fiat Ducato is kicked down to #4 but remains #3 year-to-date, getting ever closer to the Citroen Berlingo. Not much movement in the ranking otherwise, let’s just salute the new gen Peugeot 308 up to #19 and the Nissan NV400 up 11 spots to #36.
